Reflexology is a compression massage of the feet and hands. 
The feet and hands mirror the body which means that a reflexology point on the foot or hand will relate to a specific point in the body. 
For example: the toes represent the head, face and brain area, the ball of the foot the lung area,  the heel is the pelvic area, and the liver Reflexology point is on the right foot only and the spleen is on the left foot only.
The therapist can detect tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet (or hands) and by working on these points may restore the free flow on energy to the whole body. Tensions are eased, and circulation and elimination may be improved.  This is a wonderful therapy for both acute and chronic problems.
Occasionally points will feel tender when I touch them if there is a imbalance in that specific area, by gently masaging the area the discomfort will lessen and the corresponding area in the body may improve. 
My clients always feel relaxed and often fall asleep by the end of a treatment.

Regular treatments may improve the health and boost the immune system.  My clients report that they do not get so many colds in the winter and if one strikes it goes away very quickly.  
Regular treatments may reduce the effects of hayfever,  often by the third year it is no longer such a problem. (I have found this to be the case with clients)
Reflexology may be helpful for men and women with infertility problems and also during and after pregnancy.  (I appear to have had some success in these areas with clients).

I have completed several Advanced Reflexology courses and treatments.   I include one or more of these techniques where appropriate.  For example:- 

Vertical Reflex Therapy which is a unique reflexology technique where the hands and feet are briefly treated in a standing weight-bearing position. It was originally developed to help orthopaedic conditions but has appeared to be successful in treating many health problems.  I have had success in treating shoulder, neck, and back problems using this method, according to my clients.  Homework may be given whereby the client can treat certain appropiate points themselves on a daily basis to speed up the healing.

Maternity Reflexology appears to be beneficial to both mother and baby.  It may improve the health of the expectant mother, and may make birthing easier. It may help with the baby's health, and help the womb return to normal after the birth. Special offer see my prices page.
Reflexology Lymphatic Technique may be useful when treating lymphatic problems including swollen ankles.
Endocrine Balance may help with hormone imbalances.
Intestinal Link & Chinese points enhance the overall treatment and therefore may help all conditions.
Auricular therapy and Hand Reflexology during a treatment I may work corresponding points on the ear &/or hands for better effect.
